The small medieval city of Conflans perched on its rock overlooking the Arly is the origin of the current city. Its ramparts, its now baroque church, its three fountains and the Museum of Art and History make it a must-see.
Not far from there, the Cistercian Abbey of Tamié, founded in the 12th century, still houses the monks who make the legendary Tamiè cheese. A visitors' area allows you to admire the exceptional site of this monastery without disturbing the religious in their daily rituals (shop for your souvenirs).

The 1992 Winter Olympics allowed Albertville to be discovered by many and to develop.
Even today, the Olympic Hall is a place dedicated to sporting and cultural events in the city: its ice rink built for the games is the main element (it should also be noted its climbing wall)
